Description of Software and Services
The Original Get Movin’ Crew, operating as Get Movin’ - Your Fundraising Experts (Get Movin’), offers fundraising software (referred to as the Software) accessible through its website www.getmovinfundhub.com (referred to as the Site), along with other fundraising-related services, to schools and youth-based organizations for use in their school or parent group fundraising events. Our Software platform is designed with the primary goal of connecting with potential contributors, also known as donors, worldwide through our student fundraising webpages. By doing so, we aim to assist schools and youth organizations in realizing their full budgetary potential and optimizing their fundraising efforts for event-based initiatives. These event-based fundraisers can encompass a variety of activities, including but not limited to Fun Runs, A-thons, and Cash drives.
User Registration
Parents or Legal Guardians (LGs) can register on our website by creating a login and then entering their student's (minor child's) information into our Software system. Parents or LGs can add all children in their family who are participating in a fundraising event to their individual account. Once registered, they can access and manage a limited set of features related to their children's donations and goals from their individual login.
User Responsibility & Agreement
By selecting the "agree" option in the registration form, you, as the parent or legal guardian, confirm that you will personally input all personal information pertaining to your child(ren) into the Software. You also grant Get Movin' permission to utilize this information for the purpose of providing fundraising services in connection with the school or group event(s) for which you have registered your child(ren).
Parents or LGs maintain full control over each student's fundraising webpage accessible through their login, which is created as part of the Get Movin' Fund Hub registration process. Once the parent or LG has established the student webpage, they have the option to share it via email, SMS/text messages, or various social media platforms, should they choose to employ the sharing tools to promote the student's donation goals.
Email Permissions
When you register your child, you are opting in to receive emails from the Site that pertain to the current fundraiser. These emails include automatic notifications related to registration, student donation updates, and promotional messages throughout the fundraiser. It's important to note that the school's parent group manages all promotional emails sent via the Site, and these emails are specifically designed to optimize fundraising efforts during the fundraiser period.
Data Privacy
At Get Movin', safeguarding your privacy is paramount. We strictly adhere to the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) to ensure the protection of children's online data. We do not sell or share information about parents, LGs, or children/students with any external parties under any circumstances. In the event of questions from unverified parents or other individuals associated with a student in our system, such inquiries will be redirected to the school for verification purposes. Rest assured, we never disclose any personal information about parents, LGs, or children/students.
